Socially Snappy: Girl Fight!
A popular childhood rhyme confidently states, "Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!" Well, many of our favorite Hollywood starlets and sweethearts try their best to do major damage with killer wordplay.
“Taking your clothes off, doing sexy dancing and marrying a rich footballer must be very gratifying, your mother must be so proud, stupid b*tch”
“She’s the high priestess of tack”
“She’s as dim as a bulb in a power cut… f***ing useless”
“Her forehead looks like a f***ing flatscreen TV”
“A fat pig. A degenerate. Unattractive.”
“Who let the dogs out!”
7. Naomi Campbell to Tyra Banks:
“You’ll never be me. Don’t ever think you’ll be me”
6. Cheryl Cole on Lily Allen:
“Everyone wants to look like her? Chick with a dick”
5. Christina Aguilera on Lady Gaga:
“I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman”
4. Lindsay Lohan on Keira Knightley:
“That flat-chested cardboard cut-out”
3. Joan Collins on Linda Evans:
“It’s quite off putting to have to look at that face”
2. Sharon Osbourne on Susan Boyle:
“She’s been hit with the ugly stick. You just want to say God bless and here’s a Gillette razor”
1. Etta James on Beyonce:
“I tell you that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she gonna get her ass whupped. I can’t stand Beyonce”

Welsh (General Manager of Zone 4, Inc.) have teamed up with the American Cancer Society to host the 3rd Annual "Cancers 4 a Cause: Where Music Meets Fashion For A Cure."
"Cancers 4 a Cause" is an annual initiative sponsored byFoundation F.O.C.U.S., a non-profit organization designed to instill a desire for education, interpersonal skills, networking and marketability within our youth. Founded in 2009 by Polow Da Don (Zone 4, Inc. CEO) and Mia Welsh (General Manager of Zone 4, Inc.), the foundation provides assistance through a variety of programs, seminars and panels to ensure success in producing educated, humble, talented and goal-oriented young people.
The "Cancers 4 a Cause" initiative was birthed out of need to educate the community about the growing epidemic of cancer. Joining Zone 4, Inc. and Foundation F.O.C.U.S. for this year’s benefit are The American Cancer Society, music publishing giant BMI and lifestyle publication Sister 2 Sister Magazine. Celebrity models and familiar faces such as Bianca Goldenand Bre Scullark, from the America’s Next Top Model series, will also grace the catwalk.
In addition to fashion, there will also be musical performances throughout the course of the show. Performers will include Universal Music Recording newcomer, Mika Means as well as, legendary Destiny’s Child group member Michelle Williams.
In the spirit of philanthropy, Foundation F.O.C.U.S. will award trailblazers in the fields of fashion, music and community service. Those awardees include BMI Executive Catherine Brewton, Radio Personality Rashan Ali, Fashion DesignersTracy Reese and Laquan Smith.
The host for the evening will be Zone 4, Inc. recording artist and pop sensation Keri Hilson.
La Vida Lohan!
Lindsay Lohan is a very big conversation piece because of her *ahem* habits right now, but being that she's one of my favorite actresses (you can't deny that she is a guilty pleasure), I will only accentuate the positive. La Lohan covers the August/September issue of COMPLEX Magazine. Though she never completed an interview for the piece, the photos are still great. Check them out!

Social Summer: So Icy!
Lemon-Blueberry Twist Pops
Drain one 15-ounce can of blueberries, reserving the juice. Set aside 1/3 cup of the blueberries. Puree the remaining berries and 1 tablespoon of juice in blender. Fold in the reserved berries. In a small bowl, whisk two 6-ounce cups of custard-style lemon yogurt with 1/2 cup of milk. In pop molds or 3-ounce paper cups, alternate 2 rounded tablespoons of the yogurt mixture with 1 tablespoon of blueberry mixture. Swirl with knife, cover and freeze.
Use canned blueberries instead of fresh or frozen because they are packed in juice and the flavor is concentrated. Also, canned blueberries are available all over the country, all year long.
It's also important to use thick custard-style yogurt because it contains less water and will not separate when frozen.
Raspberry Pops
Combine 1-1/2 cups fresh raspberries, 1 cup raspberry juice drink, and 2 tablespoons of light corn syrup (or creme de cassis) in a blender and process until smooth. Add one or two raspberries to the pop molds or 3-ounce paper cups. Fold an additional cup of raspberries into the blended mixture and spoon into the molds or cups. Cover and freeze until firm.
Mandarin Orange Cream Pops
Place one 11-ounce can of mandarin orange sections (drained) in a blender and pulse to puree. Add two cups softened vanilla ice cream and 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest and pulse until well blended. Spoon the mixture into pop molds or 3-ounce paper cups. Cover and freeze until firm. For a lower-calorie recipe, halve the vanilla ice cream and add 1 cup of orange sherbet.
Mint-Melon Pops
Puree 1-1/2 cups cantaloupe chunks and 1 tablespoon of orange juice in a blender. Divide the mixture between pop molds or 3-ounce paper cups. Freeze until the top becomes firm, 30 minutes. Rinse the blender, then puree 1-1/2 cups honeydew chunks, 1 tablespoon of thawed limeade concentrate, and 2 mint leaves. Remove the molds from freezer and top with the honeydew mixture. Cover and freeze.
General Tips
Molds - You can buy popsicle molds almost anywhere, but you can also experiment with paper cups, conical water-cooler cups, ice cube trays and even tart tins.
Sticks - Standard popsicle sticks are widely available - everywhere from arts and crafts stores to Williams-Sonoma. You can also buy skinny sticks that look more like lollipop sticks. The old-fashioned kind still works best.
Freezing - It will take about three hours for your popsicles to freeze through completely. You can push a stick into the pop after it's been in the freezer for an hour or so.
Real Simpler - Anyone who doesn't want to take the time to make popsicles can add chunks of fruit to ice cube trays with a splash of water. Drop these colorful cubes into sparkling water, teas or fruit juice for a special touch when entertaining.

Socially Sweet: Fashionably Frosted
I must admit that the cupcake trend was starting to get a little redundant until I came across these. I could only smile when I saw the images above and imagined all the label whores that would probably die to have the couture culinary creations at their next celebration.

Social Status: Socialites of the Week
...And we're back with your favorite post of the week. As with all of my socialite picks, this week's social status duo are so much more than just "socialites." In fact, both of them would potentially kill me at the point I deem them as such. Because there is so much that I can say in regards to the brands that each of them have made for themselves, reinforced by media outlets and celebrities around the world, I will only focus on their fun and fancy-free natures that make them people to see on the scene!
